The long-running Festival d'Été de Québec closed with high numbers. Top-tier acts played several stages on Grande-Allée and at Parc de la Francophonie. Organisers counted more number of attendees than ever before. Opening night had a few issues which might have become a bigger problem. Heavy rain caused trouble on a handful of days. Still, locals kept coming back despite the setbacks . A simple check after the event showed the majority of people were pleased with how it ran, even with the minor hiccups.
