Macklin Celebrini joined back the squad and scored a goal in a close loss to the Edmonton Oilers. The young attacker, who had been sidelined, took the ice alongside fellow prospect Will Smith, who played in the big league. Even with the defeat, the Sharks saw a bright spot as Ivar Stenberg scored his first career NHL goal during a different match against the Boston Bruins.
