The facility features nine gates, 28 check-in counters, three screening zones, and local shops. Initial services come from Porter Airlines and Pascan Aviation. This development reiterates MET as a complementary hub to Montréal-Trudeau, intended to ease congestion at the region’s main airport while awaiting additional growth avenues including REM connectivity. The project is valued at about $4B, with future growth expected to include additional carriers and improved curbside amenities.
