More EU investment for growth and jobs in Port Talbot
EU funds of £3.5m will be invested in the first stage of a major development to create a new business hub in Port Talbot’s former docks.
www.gov.walesPort Talbot Parkway appeared at a new enclosed footbridge with a ticket office plus CCTV and lifts to every platform as part of a regeneration scheme linked to Wales Station Improvement Scheme. The project supports a park-and-ride and additional car parking, along with improved facilities for cyclists, buses, and taxis. It is connected to wider Port Talbot regeneration efforts such as Harbourside development and town-centre upgrades. Funding from a mix of Welsh Government, Network Rail, and European/other funds, with Neath Port Talbot Council and local transport partners.
