SpaceX lifted off with a Starlink mission in the early hours of Aug. 25. The rocket soared into space. It was the 37th time for that Falcon booster, establishing another rocket reuse record. The flight was the 100th Falcon 9 launch of 2026. Dawn onlookers expected to observe a jellyfish effect high above. Spaceflight Now and Space streamed live coverage of the event.
SpaceX also planned to reveal its Louisiana plans on Aug. 25. Elsewhere, NASA placed its next star space telescope atop a Falcon Heavy rocket. That launch is set for Aug. 30.
