Police apprehended a man from Kippens after a theft at a liquor store in Stephenville. Officers took the man into custody and found a knife on him when he was patted down during the arrest.

The Kippens resident currently faces over 40 outstanding charges on top of new charges stemming from the liquor store theft in Stephenville. Officers discovered the knife on the suspect while executing the arrest. The man is scheduled for court appearances for the alleged incident along with his more than 40 prior outstanding charges.
