Kentucky contest was described as a costly House-era contest, and a test of the Trump grip inside the GOP. Trump backed Gallrein publicly while Massie attacked Trump on specific votes. Gallrein moves forward to the general election in a deeply Republican district, facing Democrat Melissa Strange.
