A series of Ukrainian drone strikes have hit Russian oil infrastructure, forcing all major Lukoil refineries offline. Russia cannot process or export oil as refineries are unable to process it after the Ukrainian strikes. The situation has left Russia working urgently to source oil imports. In addition, the offensive against Russian oil infrastructure caused petrol panic across Central Asia.
Russia launched major late-night missile and drone attacks targeting nine Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv. The Russian strikes hit Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, resulting in several people wounded.
