The Scottish Government has pledged a £14m funding package for the restoration of Glasgow's People's Palace and Winter Gardens. Total expenses for the museum project now top £50m. The famous site aiming to re-open the Glasgow museum and gardens has been locked for a long time.
BBC and The Herald indicated the venue is scheduled to remain shut until 2029.
Elsewhere, infamous Glasgow pub the Louden has shut permanently. The Glasgow Bell detailed how one of Glasgow's most prominent pubs closed for good.
